house update

Well we currently have 3 fans and a de-humidifier running. A restoration crew came in and 3 hours later had all the boards and garbage cleaned up and cut all the damaged drywall out. Our finished basement quickly turned into a very unfinished basement. We are not covered under insurance, but have a few avenues we are exploring. We are overwhelmed, but cutting our losses and moving on. The girls seem unaware of the damage. We haven't let them see the basement and we'll try to throw all their toys and books away while they are at school so that they are less aware of their losses. I am really regretting my thoughts last week that we had too much stuff and I would like to just get rid of things and start over...be careful what you wish for!
